Ammonia nitrogen in water refers to the ammonia nitrogen in the form of ammonia(NH₃)  and ammonium(NH₄+). Ammonia nitrogen is one of the most harmful forms of all kinds of nitrogen, which is a sign of water polluted. The harmfulness of ammonia nitrogen to water ecological environment is shown in many aspects.
